Start your DEI Journey

The Exeter Group’s Maturity Model uses five levels to help you identify your organization’s current DEI engagement, assess areas of improvement, and highlight services that can help you make significant strides toward a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workspace.

Understanding Levels

Level 1

Your organization is aware there is a need for greater diversity, equity, and inclusion for their workforce, patients, and suppliers.

Level 2

Your organization has begun to conduct a baseline assessment to identify their current state and opportunities to decrease disparities and increase equity.

Level 3

Your organization has created a DEI action plan with clear goals and metrics to measure success. You are building your organization’s current DEI capabilities in preparation for strategy implementation.

Level 4

Your organization is implementing DEI initiatives based on assessment findings to impact employees, patients, suppliers, and your community. These initiatives are aligned with your organization’s strategic plan and leaders are held accountable for achieving DEI goals.

Level 5

Your organization has a long history of systematically addressing areas of inequity throughout the business, while implementing a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process to ensure sustainability.
